Baked Beans with Pineapple

CRISPY RATING: A nice change of pace for beans

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Pound Laura's Lean Ground Beef - 96% Lean
  • 1 Large Onion, chopped
  • 28 Ounces Baked Beans
  • 8 Ounces Pineapple Chunks in Juice, tidbits, drained
  • 1 Large Green or Red Pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Garlic Clove, minced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

1. Brown beef and onions in a skillet and drain.

2. Mix together beef, onions and remaining ingredients. Transfer to a 4 to 5 quart crockpot and cook on low for 4-8 hours or until bubbly.

3. You can also bake it, covered, at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.
