Hungarian Sauerkraut

CRISPY RATING: Really yummy and so easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Pork Sirloin, Boneless, cubed
  • 1 Quart Sauerkraut
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Paprika
  • 15 Ounces Canned Tomatoes, diced, or fresh toms peeled and chopped
  • 2 Bay Leaves, Whole
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water, or less
  • Salt and Pepper

1. Sautee the onions and the pork until it is not any longer pink.

2. Mix everything into the crockpot. Easy with the water, you can always add, if needed. Cook on high, 3 to 4 hours, or low 8 to 9 hours.

3. Mom mixes in some sour cream just before serving.
