Peanut Butter Oatmeal


POINTS: 5 or so, depending on brand of oatmeal and PB
MAKES: 1 huge serving
CRISPY RATING: A subtle flavor, but addictive

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Regular Oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • Touch of Splenda, brown sugar, or Sugar-free Syrup
  • [2 pts]
  • [0 pts]
  • [.5 pts]
  • [2.5 pts]
  • [0 pts]

1. Add peanut butter, milk and water to oatmeal. Microwave according to directions on package - usually about 2 minutes or so. Stir once in middle of cooking time.

2. Stir well. Add sweetener to taste - and remember to add points if you add more than a touch!


MY NOTES AND THOUGHTS:

I found this posted on Dottie's Board. The person who posted it said it came from Prevention Magazine. Apparently, they called it "Peanut Butter Cookie Dough for Breakfast." I'm not thoroughly convinced of that, but I do like it!
